Hi there! I'm Iain Barker, host of the Back Pain Liberation Podcast.
I first got back pain in 1993.
The Back Pain Liberation System is the culmination of everything I've learned over nearly 3 decades.
For several years, I've been coaching individual clients like Jane and Matt:

In this beginner class, you will learn the Three Essential Improvements for an upright, relaxed and centred posture.
Follow me through a series of low impact, low intensity exercises to stimulate circulation and improve function of the muscles and joints.
We'll also touch on the fundamentals of unilateral training for back pain rehabilitation.
When you book, I’ll send you a link to our private Facebook group, where we’ll meet and train via live video stream.
Introductory sessions are on Mondays and Fridays. There are 3 sessions to choose from, just check out the timetable below and come along to the one that suits you.
If you can't make it to a session, don't worry! There will be catch-up recorded classes and you can also do a live session another day.
The Back Pain Liberation System
I've tried a whole lot of different ways to fix back issues.
Exercise and training works best but you have to do it right.
The Back Pain Liberation System draws on 28 years training and instructing in different mindful exercise systems, particularly the Instructor Training I completed at Wu's Tai Chi Academy in London,
It is built on Three Pillars.

It's not about boot camp, no pain no gain, workouts. This is low intensity, low impact exercise.
With regular training, most people can significantly reduce, or even eliminate, back pain.
Keep It Simple
All sessions are around 30 minutes long to fit into your busy schedule.
It's important that you take this time just for yourself and really focus on the training.
No special equipment is required, just an internet connection and a suitably-placed device to see and hear the live-stream while you train.
You don't need tons of space, just enough to take a step or so and extend your arms all around you. A clear, uncluttered area is best.
Choose clothes that let you move freely and shoes with a good grip (or barefoot if you prefer).
If you struggle with balance then you may want to have something like a dining chair close to hand, that you can use to steady yourself.
As with everything in life, you get out what you put in.
Train consistently to get the results.
In the Introductory Session you will learn the 3 Essential Posture Improvements and the fundamentals of unilateral training.
Afterwards, you will be welcome in Level 1 classes and can repeat the Introductory Session as often as you want at no extra cost.
Practicing the basics is very important so I highly recommend you take advantage of these free training sessions.
When you move on to Level 2 classes you can also train Level 1 for free and so on.
In other words, you never pay for more than 1 session per week but can train as much as you want in classes up to your current level.

The Back Pain Liberation System is a program of moderate exercise that most people can manage.
The nature of live streaming is that I cannot see or hear what's going on at your end; I cannot be responsible for your welfare during or after the training session.
By booking and attending any training you acknowledge that you have:
- Seen your own doctor about your back pain, and the suitability of moderate exercise.
- Made your own assessment of whether such an exercise program is suitable for you.
- Put in place any necessary measures to limit risk, e.g. have someone check on you at the end of the session.
Every effort is made to provide the Live Stream classes according to the timetable. There may be circumstances (e.g. illness, family emergency,travel) where I am not able to stream live. In this case there will be pre-recorded video classes available instead and your membership will be extended to make up for it.
